Detailed explanation-1: -Tribal Affairs Ministry has planned to set up technology enabled classrooms in 175 EMRSs in Phase-I coordination with MeitY. Government has decided to establish Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in every block with 50% or more ST population and atleast 20, 000 tribal persons.
Detailed explanation-2: -61, 500/-per student per year. For procurement of essential, non-recurring items like furniture/equipment including for the kitchen, dining, hostel, recreation, garden etc. Rs. 10 lakh per school-will be allowed once in every 5 years, allowing for inflation.
