Detailed explanation-1: -Right to Education is a Fundamental Right. It came into force on 1st April 2010. According to this act, every State shall provide free and compulsory education to all the children between the age of six to fourteen years. It is the right of every child to get themselves educated.

Detailed explanation-2: -Student-Teacher Ratio. The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009 in its Schedule lays down Pupil Teacher Ratio (PTR) for both primary and upper primary schools. At primary level the PTR should be 30:1 and at the upper primary level it should be 35:1.

Detailed explanation-3: -27 Prohibition of deployment of teachers for non-educational purposes.-No teacher shall be deployed for any non-educational purposes other than the decennial population census, disaster relief duties or duties relating to elections to the local authority or the State Legislatures or Parliament, as the case may be.
