Detailed explanation-1: -Government To Launch 15-Day Campaign To Mark 8 Years Of Swachh Bharat Mission | Swachh India.

Detailed explanation-2: -It is a restructured version of the Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan launched in 2009 that failed to achieve its intended targets. One step towards cleanliness. Phase 1 of the Swachh Bharat Mission lasted till October 2019. Phase 2 is being implemented between 2020–21 and 2024–25 to help cement the work of Phase 1.

Detailed explanation-3: -To accelerate the efforts to achieve universal sanitation coverage and to put the focus on sanitation, the Prime Minister of India had launched the Swachh Bharat Mission on 2nd October 2014.
