Detailed explanation-1: -Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Act prohibits employment of children below the age of 14 years.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Act prohibits employment of children below 14 years in certain occupations such as automobile workshops, bidi-making, carpet weaving, handloom and power loom industry, mines and domestic work.

Detailed explanation-3: -Article 24 Prohibition of employment of children in factories, etc. No child below the age of 14 years shall be employed in work in any factory or mine or engaged in any other hazardous employment.

Detailed explanation-4: -“An Act to prohibit the engagement of children in all occupations and to prohibit the engagement of adolescents in hazardous occupations and processes and the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.”.
