Detailed explanation-1: -The International Day of Forests is held annually on 21 March to raise awareness of the importance of forests to people. This year the Day will convene under the theme, ‘Forests and Water: Sustain Life and Livelihoods’ and will be a joint celebration of the International Day of Forests and World Water Day .

Detailed explanation-2: -The theme for 2022 is “Forests and sustainable production and consumption”. When we drink a glass of water, write in a notebook, take medicine for fever or build a house, we do not always make the connection with forests. And yet, these and many other aspects of our lives are linked to forests in one way or another.

Detailed explanation-4: -The theme for 2023 is “Forests and health.” Forests give us so much to our health. They purify the water, clean the air, capture carbon to fight climate change, provide food and life-saving medicines, and improve our well-being.
