Detailed explanation-2: -Kanchan Chaudhary Bhattacharya was an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. She was the second woman officer in Indian Police Service (IPS) in India after Kiran Bedi. She was the first woman to become an IPS officer in Uttar Pradesh. She was the first woman to become Director-General of Police of a state.
