Detailed explanation-1: -Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has successfully commissioned the first 800 MW Supercritical thermal unit in Karnataka, which is also the highest rating unit in the state. The unit has been commissioned at the 2x800 MW Yeramarus Thermal Power Station (TPS) located in Raichur district of Karnataka.

Detailed explanation-2: -Adani Enterprise Ltd run Adani Power Ltd (APL) said on Thursday that it has synchronised the country’s first supercritical unit of 660 MW power plant, taking its coal power generation capacity to 1980 MW.

Detailed explanation-3: -Ramagundam Super Thermal power station, one of the biggest thermal power stations in India, is a coal based power station situated at ramagundam in Karimnagar District. The station started power generation in 1983. The station generates about 2600 MW of power annually.
