Detailed explanation-1: -“Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban)– Housing for All” Mission for urban area will be 1.1 implemented during 2015-2022 and this Mission will provide Central Assistance to implementing agencies through States and UTs for providing houses to all eligible families/ beneficiaries by 2022.

Detailed explanation-2: -The implementation period of the PMAY-Urban scheme has been extended until 31 December 2024. The decision was made by the Union Cabinet after requests from Union Territories and states. Earlier, the aim was to provide houses by March 2022.

Detailed explanation-3: -Who is eligible for PMAY subsidy. Any household with annual income ranging from INR 3 lakh to 18 lakhs may apply. In no part of the country should the applicant or other family member have a pucca house. The recipient cannot benefit from PMAY scheme for a previously constructed building.

Detailed explanation-4: -Any household with an annual income up to 18 lakh can apply for PMAY scheme. If you wish to apply for the PMAY subsidy benefit, you can submit your application at any of our 135+ ICICI HFC branches.
