Detailed explanation-1: -We deliver services to citizens from 93 Passport Seva Kendras located in 63 cities across India.

Detailed explanation-2: -Passport Offices (PO) are vested with the authority to issue passports, besides revocation and impounding and exercise control over the PSK(s) under them. They handle all back-end functions required for processing all passport applications.

Detailed explanation-3: -As per the new scheme, an applicant will be able to choose the Regional Passport Office (RPO) and the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) for submitting the application. This is irrespective of the applicant’s permanent residential address.
