Detailed explanation-1: -The Union Minister for Environment Forest and Climate Change Shri Bhupender Yadav delivered India’s National Statement at COP 27, today. “Excellencies, Let me first express our gratitude to our hosts and the Presidency of COP27, the Arab Republic of Egypt for their tremendous efforts and gracious hospitality.

Detailed explanation-2: -India hosted a pavilion with the theme of LiFE-Lifestyle for Environment at COP 27 at Sharm El Sheikh from 6th to 17th November 2022. The Pavilion had been designed to send out the message of LiFE through various audio-visuals, Logo, 3D models, set up, décor and side events.

Detailed explanation-3: -The conference did not achieve much success around mitigation. It was unable to reach agreement, for example, on phasing out of coal and other fossils fuel or setting emission peaking periods.
