Detailed explanation-1: -San Francisco-based Uber has been regularly innovating and changing policies to offer services in Indian market like cash payments and outstation services. In line with these innovations, UberMoto was introduced as a pilot project in March 2016 in Bengaluru.

Detailed explanation-2: -BENGALURU: App-based aggregator Uber has relaunched its bike-taxi services (Uber Moto) in the city. While commuters are elated, autorickshaw drivers are up in arms against the move. Another aggregator Rapido has been operating non-electric bike-taxis in the city since 2016.

According to Uber’s app, the base fare for BikeShare has been kept at Rs 9 and the company is charging Rs 2.5 per km. However, any ride to the closest metro station will cost only about Rs 5.
