Detailed explanation-1: -Assam government will launch a new Scheme called, Scheme for Compassionate Family Pension in lieu of Compassionate Appointment.

Detailed explanation-2: -Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on January 13, 2022 launched Swanirbhar Naari, an ambitious scheme aimed at making the weavers of Assam self-reliant.

Detailed explanation-3: -(a) Appointment on compassionate grounds should be made only on regular basis and that too only if regular vacancies meant for that purpose are available. (b) Compassionate appointments can be made upto a maximum of 5% of vacancies falling under direct recruitment quota in any Group ‘C’ post.

Detailed explanation-4: -The Government of Assam has launched Assam Pension Scheme in order to provide financial security to the Government employees after retirement. Through this scheme pension benefits are provided to the beneficiaries including GIS, GPF, leave encashment DCRG, etc.
