Detailed explanation-1: -By India Today Web Desk: ISRO’s Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) completes 1000 earth days in orbit and has outlived its lifespan, which is more than five times the number of days the orbiter was designed to last in orbit.

Detailed explanation-2: -Isro, which operated the spacecraft around Mars, confirmed that the Mangalyaan has reached its end of life after completing years of interplanetary journey. On September, 27, 2022, Isro organised a one-day national meeting to commemorate the Mars Orbiter Mission, as Mangalyaan completed eight years in Martian orbit.

Detailed explanation-3: -Team Mangalyaan Subbiah Arunan was the director of the mission. The other team members were M Annadurai, S Ramakrishnan, SK Shivakumar and V Adimurthy.
