Detailed explanation-1: -The Cabinet led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had approved new integrated food security scheme for providing free foodgrains to Antodaya Ann Yojna (AAY) & Primary Household (PHH) beneficiaries, to be rolled out from 1st January 2023.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Ministry’s new scheme “Prime Minister’s Development initiative for the north eastern region-PM-Devine” (with an outlay of Rs. 6, 600 crore), has been approved earlier in october-2022 separately, under which larger and high impact proposals under infrastructure, social development and livelihood sectors are taken.

Detailed explanation-3: -By 2002, the scheme was implemented in all of the states under the orders of the Supreme Court of India. The name of the scheme has been changed to PM-POSHAN (Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman) Scheme, in September 2021, by MoE (Ministry of Education), which is the ministry responsible for the scheme.

Detailed explanation-4: -It was launched by prime minister Narendra Modi-led government. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, income support of Rs 6000 per annum is provided to all eligible farmer families across the country in three equal installments of Rs 2, 000 each every four months.
