Detailed explanation-1: -The Andhra Pradesh Kapu (Reservation of Seats in Educational Institutions and of Appointments or Posts in the Services under State) Bill, 2017, was reserved by the Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh, for assent of Hon’ble President of India.

Detailed explanation-2: -Andhra Pradesh state percentage of reservation is around 50%. Including the overall 1/3 reservation for women, 66.66% of seats are reserved in Andhra Pradesh in Education and Government jobs. Andhra Pradesh BC quota has sub-quotas for castes, classified in A, B, C and D.
