Detailed explanation-1: -India’s Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr Mansukh Mandaviya launched Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 4.0 on 7 February 2022 to enhance the coverage of the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP).
Detailed explanation-2: -The government launched Mission Indradhanush in December 2014 to achieve full immunisation coverage for all pregnant women and children at a rapid pace. The Intensified Mission Indradhanush followed the MI in October 2017 to reach the drop-out and left-out children for immunisation.
