Detailed explanation-1: -UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is developed by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD) to drive Mobile Governance in India.

Detailed explanation-2: -The app was developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology with the National e-Governance Division and launched in November 2017 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Global Conference on Cyberspace in New Delhi.

Detailed explanation-3: -UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance) is one of the key initiatives under the Digital India program to develop a common, unified platform and mobile app to facilitate a single point of access to all government services.

Detailed explanation-4: -UMANG App can be used to book cylinders online, request for refills, subsidies, mechanic services, surrender connections, etc. These services can be availed on HP Gas, Bharat Gas and Indane Gas.
