Detailed explanation-1: -The port of Chabahar is located in South eastern Iran in the Gulf of Oman.

Detailed explanation-2: -Chabahar Port is located in Iran’s southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan provinces. The Chabahar Port is located 72 km away from the Gwadar port in Pakistan, which China has developed. The Chabahar Port serves as the only oceanic port in Iran and consists of two separate ports-Shahid Beheshti and Shahid Kalantari.

Detailed explanation-3: -India remains “fully committed to develop the Chabahar port to realise the vision” outlined during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Iran in 2016, Sonowal said at the time.
