Detailed explanation-1: -a) Child Care leave of two months can be sanctioned in not less than 3 spells to look after two children up to the age of 18 years and with disabled children up to 22 years. Child Care leave would be permitted only if the child is dependent on the Government servant.

The number can go up to 20 days for defence personnel, 30 days for Defence Personnel Below Officer Rank (PBOR) and 10 days for industrial workers. Railways staff are granted CL between 11 to 13 days in a calendar year.
