Detailed explanation-1: -Under the Government of India’s flagship programmes Swachh Bharat Mission, NHAI is providing separate ladies and gents toilets on both upside and down side of each of its 372 toll plazas, and also placing litterbins and hoardings carrying the Swachhta message along with message discouraging littering at these sites.

Detailed explanation-2: -The mission aims to cover 10.4 million households by providing 0.25 million community toilets, 0.26 million public toilets and a solid waste management facility in each town. Under the programme, community toilets are built in residential areas where it is difficult to construct individual household toilets.
