Detailed explanation-1: -What is SFDR? About: It is a missile propulsion technology jointly developed by India and Russia. SFDR technology is a missile propulsion system based on the concept of Ramjet Engine principle.

Detailed explanation-2: -India successfully carried out a test launch of tactical ballistic missile Prithvi-II from a test range off the Odisha coast on Tuesday. The defence ministry said the missile struck its target with “high accuracy".

Detailed explanation-3: -The QRSAM with a range of 25-30 kms is a pressing requirement for the Army. The missile was last tested in September 2022 with six flight-tests conducted from Integrated Test Range (ITR) Chandipur, off Odisha as part of evaluation trials by the Army.
