Detailed explanation-1: -For the fourth consecutive year, Tamil Nadu bagged the Best State Award in cadaveric organ donation from the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO), Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

It was also the first state to create “green corridors” to quickly transport donated organs to its destined hospital.
