Detailed explanation-1: -To clear anticipated rush of pilgrims during Gangasagar Mela-2023, Eastern Railway will run 12 Galloping EMU Mela Special trains in between 12th & 17th January, 2023 in different directions from Sealdah South/ Kolkata station/ Lakshmikantapur/Namkhana/ Kakdwip.

Detailed explanation-2: -In a recently issued statement, Eastern Railways has said during Gangasagar Mela 2022, the zone will run 12 Galloping EMU Mela Special trains between 12 January and 17 January 2022 from Sealdah South, Kolkata, Lakshmikantapur, Namkhana, Kakdwip in order to clear the anticipated rush of pilgrims.

According to a railway statement, Train No. 06021 Tambaram-Tirunelveli Pongal Special will leave Tambaram at 9 p.m. on January 12, 2023 (Thursday) and reach Tirunelveli at 9 a.m. the next day.
