Detailed explanation-2: -Union Minister of Ayush, Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shri SarbanandaSonowal inaugurated a two-day scientific conventionon ‘Homoeopathy: People’s Choice for Wellness’today at New Delhi.

Detailed explanation-3: -It was founded by Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), who grew up in Meissen in Germany, received his medical degree in Erlangen in 1779, and died a millionaire in Paris in 1843. During his first fifteen years as a physician Hahnemann struggled desperately to make a living.

Detailed explanation-4: -The theme of this scientific convention is ‘Homoeopathy: People’s Choice for Wellness’. This scientific convention on 9th April 2022 will be inaugurated by Union Minister of Ayush, ports, Shipping and Waterways Sh. Sarbnanda Sonowal, along with MoS for Ayush and WCD Dr Mahendrabhai Munjpara.

Detailed explanation-5: -Mahendra Lal Sircar was the first Indian who became a homeopathic physician. A number of allopathic doctors started homeopathic practice following Sircar’s lead. The ‘Calcutta Homeopathic Medical College’, the first homeopathic medical college was established in 1881.
