Detailed explanation-1: -Union Minister of Agriculture launched an online portal ENSURE-National Livestock Mission-EDEG (https://ensure.nabard.org). About: Agencies involved: The portal has been developed by NABARD and operated under the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries.

Detailed explanation-2: -National Livestock Mission is an initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare. The mission, which commenced from 2014-15, has the objective of sustainable development of the livestock sector.

Detailed explanation-3: -The revised scheme of National Livestock Mission (NLM) aims towards employment generation, entrepreneurship development, increase in per animal productivity and thus targeting increased production of meat, goat milk, egg and wool under the umbrella scheme Development Programme.
