Detailed explanation-1: -World Bank to fund pro-poor tourism development projects in India. In the top tourist hotspots of Agra and Braj-Mathura regions in Uttar Pradesh World Bank will be funding ‘pro-poor toursim’ (PPT) development projects investing more than $57 million.

Detailed explanation-2: -World Bank aided Uttar Pradesh Pro-Poor Tourism Development Project is an innovative project. In this project under two major destinations i.e., Agra and Braj region of state, project for poverty eradication and employment creation will be operated through Tourism Development related activities.
