Detailed explanation-1: -Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PMKSN, translation: Prime Minister’s Farmer’s Tribute Fund) is an initiative by the government of India that give farmers up to ₹6,000 (US$75) per year as minimum income support.

Detailed explanation-2: -The government has allocated a budget of Rs 60,000 crore for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman for financial year 2023-24, which is the lowest in last five years. In fact, the PM-Kisan allocation is 13.33 per cent lower as compared to budgetary estimates (BE) of Rs 68,000 crore made for the financial year 2022-23.
