Detailed explanation-1: -Mount Sinabung (Indonesian: Gunung Sinabung, Karo: Deleng Sinabung) is a Pleistocene-to-Holocene stratovolcano of andesite and dacite in the Karo plateau of Karo Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia, 40 kilometres (25 mi) from the Lake Toba supervolcano.

Detailed explanation-2: -Sinabung (2,600-metre) is located in Karo regency, North Sumatra. Sinabung is among more than 120 active volcanoes in Indonesia, which is prone to seismic upheaval due to its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire. The volcano was dormant for 400 years before exploding in 2010. It exploded again in 2014 ,2016 and 2020.

Detailed explanation-3: -The eruption of the Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha’apai volcano on 15 January 2022 was the largest recorded since the eruption of Krakatoa in 1883. The eruption triggered tsunami waves of up to 15m which struck the west coast of Tongatapu, ‘Eua and Ha’apai.
