Detailed explanation-1: -By now, this scheme is well-known as “Sabooj Sathi” as coined by Hon’ble Chief Minister herself and it reflects her desire to see young students empowered to achieve new feats in the future through the bicycles provided under the scheme.

Detailed explanation-2: -This scheme has been launched by the concerned authorities of the West Bengal government to create an impact on the students’ life of the West Bengal State. The students will be able to get a bicycle so that they can go to their concerned schools without any worry.

Detailed explanation-3: -The launch of the scheme was done in September 2015. The candidates of the state will be benefitted through the scheme. The beneficiaries of the schemes will be the students studying from class 9th to 12th. The candidates can refer to the official portal of the Sabboj Sathu Scheme i.e. wbsaboojsathi.gov.in.

Detailed explanation-4: -West Bengal Sabooj Sathi Scheme is the flagship scheme of the Government of West Bengal. It started in the year 2015. The main objective behind starting this scheme is to encourage school going students especially girls to pursue higher education.
