Detailed explanation-1: -Haridwar (Uttarakhand) [India], Dec 5 (ANI): India’s first hybrid annuity model in sewerage sector, a 14 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) was inaugurated on Thursday in Sarai, Haridwar under the Namami Gange project of National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG).

Detailed explanation-4: -The Delhi government is building India’s largest sewage treatment plant (STP) in Okhla subdivision of Delhi, capable of treating 564 million litres of wastewater per day. The STP, which covers an area of ?? 110 hectares, is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.

Detailed explanation-5: -The 35 sewage treatment plants operational at 20 locations across Delhi can treat up to 577 MGD of sewage and have been utilising around 90% (514 MGD) of their capacity. Currently, Delhi generates around 744 million gallons of sewage a day. The DJB supplies 930 MGD of water to the city.
