Detailed explanation-1: -NEW DELHI : The Centre has proposed light urban rail transit system - ‘Metrolite’ - in small cities and towns having lower projection of ridership, with each train having three coaches and a restricted speed of 25 kmph.

Detailed explanation-2: -Urban rail includes rail-based public transportation in urban areas, including rapid transit (also known as underground, subway, or metro), light rail (streetcars), and more exotic systems, such as funiculars, monorails and cable cars.
