Detailed explanation-1: -“I believe that the golden period of Himachal’s development is about to begin in the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Bulk Drug Park and dedicated the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Una to the nation, today.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Bulk Drug Parks to be developed under the scheme will provide common infrastructure facilities at one place thereby creating a robust ecosystem for the Bulk Drug manufacturing in the country and also reducing the manufacturing cost significantly.

Detailed explanation-3: -Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this new train on October 13, 2022. The fourth Vande Bharat train is an advanced version compared to the earlier ones, being much lighter and capable of reaching higher speeds in a shorter duration.

Detailed explanation-4: -Three bulk drug parks are being set up in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh in order to help supply raw material for pharmaceutical industries, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said.

Detailed explanation-5: -The Bulk Drug Park Promotion Scheme has a total budget of Rs. 3000 crore and a five-year duration (2020-21 to 2024-25). With a cap of Rs. 1000 crore per park or 70% of the project cost of Common Infrastructure Facilities, whichever is smaller, the initiative will offer grant-in-aid to three Bulk Drug Parks.
