Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship during the National Conference for Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSSs) held on 24th January 2019 at the AICTE Auditorium in New Delhi. Detailed explanation-2: -The Scheme of Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS), formerly known as Shramik Vidyapeeth is implemented through a network of NGOs in the country since March 1967.

Detailed explanation-3: -Jan Shikshan Sansthan aims to provide vocational training to non-literates, neo-literates as well as school drop-outs in rural regions by identifying skills that have a relevant market in that region. Over two-thirds of India’s population comprises rural citizens.
