Detailed explanation-1: -Hero MotoCorp today launched India’s first BS-VI compliant motorcycle – the new Splendor iSmart with a starting price of Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Hero MotoCorp became the first two-wheeler manufacturer in the country to receive the BS-VI certificate from iCAT.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Hero Splendour iSmart is India’s first BS6 bike in India. This bike which had been carburated for so many years now finally gets fuel injection.

Detailed explanation-3: -The Type Approval Certificate was issued to the Company’s Splendor iSmart motorcycle that has been developed and manufactured indigenously by Hero MotoCorp. Last year ICAT issued the country’s first approval for BS-VI norms for Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) segment also.
