Detailed explanation-1: -The child care leave could be granted at 100% of leave salary for the first 365 days and 80% of leave salary for the next 365 days, Mr. Singh said in the statement issued by the Personnel Ministry.
Detailed explanation-2: -Child care leave has been granted to single male government employees, besides female government employees on the pattern of Central government by amending the Rule 46 of HCS (Leave) Rules, 2016.
Detailed explanation-3: -The order regarding introduction of Child Care leave (CCL) in respect of Central Government employees were issued vide this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 11th September, 2008. Subsequently, clarification in this regard were also issued vide O.M. dated 29th September, 2008.
Detailed explanation-4: -(i) For a maximum period of seven hundred and thirty days during entire service for taking care of two eldest surviving children upto the age of 18 years. (ii) No age limit in case of disabled child. (iii) For not more than three spells in a calendar year.
