Detailed explanation-1: -The 79th round socio-economic survey of the National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO) will be conducted for one year from July 1, 2022. Trained officers will take up the online survey, said National Statistical Office, Field Operations Division, AP State Deputy Director-General R. Kiran Kumar.

Detailed explanation-2: -Since the 1990s there have been four health surveys of NSO (erstwhile NSSO): those of the 52nd round (July, 1995 – June, 1996), the 60th round (January, 2004-June, 2004), the 71st round (January, 2014–June, 2014), and the 75th round (July, 2017-June, 2018), on which the present report is based.
