Detailed explanation-1: -The Gujarat government is in the process of banning sale of junk food in schools as well as in the 50-meter area around them to encourage consumption of healthy food among children.

Detailed explanation-2: -The FSSAI has restricted the sale of junk and unhealthy food in canteens of schools and other educational institutions. It’s a first of its kind, where FSSAI has pushed in new regulation under the Food Safety and Standard Act which aims to provide a safe, nutritious and healthy diet for school children.
