Detailed explanation-1: -Recently, Hindi writer “Prof. Ramdarsh Mishra” for his poetry collection ‘Mai to yaha hoon’ was awarded the Saraswati Samman for 2021 on April 7, 2022. The award consists of fifteen lakh rupees, a citation and a plaque.

Detailed explanation-2: -Now the prize money has increased to Rs. 15 lakh. It is named after mother Saraswati, an Indian goddess of knowledge. For the winners of Saraswati Samman, the candidates are selected by a panel from one of the literary works published in the last ten (10) years which includes scholars and former awardees.

Detailed explanation-3: -To be eligible for the award, the literary work must be in the Hindi language and have been published in the past 10 years.
