Detailed explanation-2: -A solar energy-driven miniature train, billed as the country’s first of its kind, was inaugurated at the Veli Tourist Village by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday.

Detailed explanation-3: -India’s first solar-powered miniature train was launched at Veli Tourist Village in Kerala on November 2. The miniature train has all the features of a fully equipped rail system which includes a tunnel, station and a ticket office.

Detailed explanation-4: -Solar trains in India India’s first solar-powered DEMU (Diesel Electrical Multiple Units) runs from Sarai Rohilla in the national capital to Farukh Nagar in Haryana. There are six coaches on the train with a total of 16 solar panels, each producing approximately 300 Wp.
