Detailed explanation-1: -The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has sanctioned Rs. 795 crore to the Government of West Bengal to reconstruct infrastructure damaged by Cyclone Amphan. This fund is approved under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund.

Detailed explanation-2: -The damages caused by the Amphan Cyclone were estimated at USD 13 billion. This cyclone was the costliest and deadliest to hit the Bay of Bengal Delta since 2007 and was a rare super cyclonic formation over the Bay of Bengal. Detailed explanation-3: -Amphan took 40 hours after its formation to become a super cyclone. The main reason behind this was the high sea surface temperatures of 32-34 degrees celsius in the Bay of Bengal.
