Detailed explanation-1: -By Manjeet Negi: India successfully test fired a BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from the guided missile destroyer INS Delhi. The test of the anti-ship variant of the missile was conducted using an upgraded modular launcher on board INS Delhi.

Detailed explanation-2: -India has successfully test-fired an anti-ship version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. It’s another major boost for the armed forces. It was test-fired jointly by the Indian Navy and the Andaman and Nicobar Command - the only tri-services command of the Indian armed forces.
