Detailed explanation-1: -Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on 5 February 2020 announced in Parliament that Project NATGRID with all its required physical infrastructures been completed as of 31 March 2020 and the NATGRID solution went live as of 31 December 2020.

Detailed explanation-2: -NATGRID project was initiated in 2009 with a huge budget of INR 2800 crore, and the office is attached to the Ministry of Home Affairs. NATGRID is basically an online database that collects the scattered pieces of information and then puts them together on one platform.
