Detailed explanation-1: -As per Third Advance Estimates for 2020-21, total Foodgrain production in the country is estimated at record 305.44 million tonnes which is higher by 7.94 million tonnes than the production of foodgrain of 297.50 million tonnes achieved during 2019-20.

Detailed explanation-2: -The production of Foodgrains in the country is estimated at a record 314.51 million tonnes which is higher by 3.77 million tonnes than the production of foodgrain during 2020-21. The production during 2021-22 is higher by 23.80 million tonnes than the previous five years’ average production of foodgrains.

Detailed explanation-3: -National Foodgrain Target India has achieved significant milestones in agricultural production and productivity. As per the official datasheet, India has achieved food grain production of 296 million tonnes (MT) in 2019-20 and is to achieve 300 MT of production during 2020-21.
