Detailed explanation-1: -PUNE: The ministry of housing and urban affairs have launched the ease of living index (EoLI) and municipal performance index (MPI) 2019 to help assess the progress made in cities through various initiatives and empower them to use evidence to plan, implement and monitor their performance.

Detailed explanation-3: -The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) releases the Ease of Living Index. The 2020 Ease of Living Report was released on 4th March 2021. It is a second edition of the report. The first one was published in 2018.

Detailed explanation-4: -The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs launched the online survey on November 9 and it will end on December 23. Based on the survey results, cities will be ranked in the Ease of Living Index-2022.
