Detailed explanation-1: -Ramesh Chandra Gaur is presently Director, National School of Drama (NSD), an autonomous institute under Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. He has assumed his office in NSD w.e.f. 15.03. 2022 (A/N).

Detailed explanation-2: -The NSD was established under the aegis of the Sangeet Natak Akademi (India’s national academy of music, dance, and drama). Under the direction (1962–77) of Ebrahim Alkazi, the school emerged as India’s premier theatre-training institute.
