Detailed explanation-2: -Survey of Villages Abadi & Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) Scheme is a Central Sector scheme launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on National Panchayat Day i.e 24th April 2020.

Detailed explanation-3: -The Centre has recently launched SVAMITVA scheme that will digitalise land records and empower rural India. Hailing the initiative, prime minister Narendra Modi said it ‘is a mantra for development & improving trust in the villages with the help of modern technology.

Detailed explanation-4: -The scheme aims to cover 6.62 lakh villages in the country from Financial Year 2020-21 to Financial Year 2024-25. It is being implemented with the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Survey of India (SoI), State Revenue Department, State Panchayati Raj Department and National Informatics Centre.
