Detailed explanation-1: -Hon’ble Minister of Textiles Govt of India launched the mobile apps and the portal on the occasion of 7th national handloom day on 7 august 2020.

Detailed explanation-2: -The Handloom Mark Scheme was launched by the Government of India on June 28, 2006 to provide assurance to the consumers about authenticity of handloom products.

Detailed explanation-3: -The creation of handloom mark was entrusted to the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. The form of the logo has been derived from the interlocking of the warp and the weft. These threads stand for the collaborative institutes giving their inputs and the weavers giving their skills.

Detailed explanation-4: -Margin money assistance to a maximum of Rs. 10, 000 per weaver and credit guarantee for a period of 3 years is also provided.

Detailed explanation-5: -Weavers Mudra Scheme The handloom weavers are given credit under the Weaver MUDRA Scheme at a special interest rate of 6%. A maximum of Rs. 10, 000 in margin money support and a 3-year credit guarantee are also offered to weavers.
