Detailed explanation-1: -Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 6 National Highway projects of 119 KMs worth 2300 Crore rupees in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Detailed explanation-2: -The four-lane Gohpur-Numaligarh twin tube tunnel or bridge project has received Rs 12, 807 crores. This will enable traffic to pass through Kaziranga National park. This important project will improve connectivity between Silchar in Assam and Vairengte in Mizoram. The project will boost connectivity within Assam.

Detailed explanation-3: -Among all the projects NH44 is of prime importance as it connects both the capitals of union territory. National Highway Project NH-44 would provide all-weather-connectivity from Jammu to the Kashmir valley. It will also reduce journey time from Jammu to Srinagar and strategic border areas in the State of J&K.
