Detailed explanation-2: -The theme of World Soil Day for the year 2022 is ‘Soils: Where food begins’. Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Tourism Shri. Shripad Naik attended and addressed the programme. Soil Health Cards were distributed to the farmers on this occasion.

Detailed explanation-3: -Soil Health Card (SHC) is a Government of India’s scheme promoted by the Department of Agriculture & Co-operation under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare. It is being implemented through the Department of Agriculture of all the State and Union Territory Governments.
