Detailed explanation-1: -’Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ’ is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.

Detailed explanation-2: -Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is a series of events organised by the Government of India to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence. The Mahotsav is being celebrated as a Jan-Utsav in the spirit of Jan-Bhagidari.

Detailed explanation-3: -15th August 2022 marks the completion of 75 years of India’s independence. The celebrations that commenced last year on 12th March, 2021 to mark the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav will continue until 2023 concluding with the 77th Independence day.
